RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants - formerly RE/MAX of the Desert - was founded in late 1994.  In July 1995, Lorenzo Lombardelli became President and acquired ownership of the brokerage firm.  In 1995, the original location was in Palm Desert, California and consisted of 11 Sales Associates.  The firm was not listed in the Top Ten real estate companies in the desert at that time.  Today, after twelve years under Mr. Lombardelli's leadership, RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants is the number one real estate firm in most categories.

Since 1997 RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants has been named:

September 1996 - RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants' La Quinta, California office was opened at a time when no major real estate company represented the area.  Today RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants has set the trend in this rapidly expanding area.

December 1997 - RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants' Palm Springs, California office was opened with two Sales Associates.  Today, over 40 Top Producing Sales Associates in the area contribute to the success of this location.

May 2000 - RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants' opens the Chula Vista, California office. 

March 2001 - RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants' opens the San Diego, California office.

November 2002 - RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants' opens the Rancho Mirage, California office.

December 4, 2003 - RE/MAX Real Estate Consultants' opens the Desert Hot Springs office.

May 2004 - The Franchise in Banning has been purchased and will further expand RE/MAX Real Estates Consultants' service area for it's clients.
